Family Governments power

Government Lesson 10            Jason                        12-10-13

The family government has five different forms of government. The first is sovereignty. The family governments sovereignty is family government power, how much power the family government have. Family government has a lot of power, the parent can give the child the authority to do anything, but the authorities have the power to punish for their acts, so in this case, family government is stronger.

Next is hierarchy, who is in charge. The parents are the ones in charge in family government and they have the authority to do almost anything in the household. The child is not of any power.

Next is law. In the family government the parents put together a law, what can the children and we do and take part in. Law is what holds the family together, without family we would fall apart because we would not have anything that can control what we do, people will do things which others do not like, and the others will rebel.

Next is sanctions, or consequences and punishments. A good thing can be a consequence, too. Lets say you did something good for the family, you would most likely get something good out of it. And if you do something bad you will most likely get a punishment. Sanctions consist of these. Sanctions are as follows

1: groundation

2: demotion

3: promotion

4: gain in privileges

5: loss in privileges

6: etc.

Next is succession, or precedence, such as technology. The family could start out homeless and poor, and end up rich and with maybe even three mansions. Everything has succession, its like evolution (and sometimes is.)

Government 1a, LESSON 5

ASSIGNMENT: Is the Family a Legitimate Form of Government?

The family government should always be allowed power, power should always be allowed in as many ways possible. God also encourages family government because without it we would not be able to make very many decisions, and that is what god wants us to be able to do. Therefore family government is a legitimate form of government.

In family government parents have the ultimate decision on what the family can do. Even if something is illegal, the parent can still give permission for the family to do such a thing, there just will be consequences to what they did. There are consequences to everything that you do, do something good and you get something good (unless the other person does not see that it was good) and if you do something bad then you get in trouble (unless the other person thinks that it was good, but there will always come a punishment in some way.) So basically what I am saying is that the parent can say to the child “I, (Insert parent’s name here), give you, (insert child’s name here), permission to murder (insert random person’s name here.)” There will be trouble with the authorities on this, though.

Discuss some of the good things that came as a result of Jim Lehrer’s heart attack.

Many people have heart attacks. Many of them become disabled because of them. Heart attacks are common in older people but not so much in younger people. In fact, if you are younger then about thirty years old you most likely would not have to worry about having a heart attack. A heart happens when either there is a blockage in one of the hearts four chambers or in one of the main blood streams. Lots of heart attacks are caused by cholesterol or blood clots. Most of the time a heart attack will leave somebody with a weak heart or possibly even death. It is said that you don’t have very long to survive the heart attack and that you have about ten minutes to get to a hospital or you will most likely face death. People must be getting stronger, though, because there are may stories of people who have heart attacks and do not get to a hospital but live. But not Jim Lehrer.

Jim Lehrer had a heart attack in his middle aged life. He was experiencing discomfort in the chest and was wondering what it was. He was hopping that it would not be a heart attack because he did not want to go to a hospital because both his parents died in a hospital so he believed that the “Lehrer Reaper” was waiting for him in the next hospital that he visited. Jim did end up in a hospital, though, but he lived, and in fact, he got a lot of gain out of his heart attack.

If Jim would not have had that heart attack he might not be living the way he is now. While he was in the hospital he decided to go back to fiction writing, and that is what he did. His wife, Kate, Supported him in this. He later went on to write plays such as Revolution Man, We Were Dreamers, Silverside Thruliner, Cedar Chest, and Dairy Queen (Which the owner of Dairy Queen Threatened to sue Jim if he didn’t change its title, so Jim changed it to Chili Queen.) Jim also wrote five Fiction Books. In fact the only thing near Non-Fiction was Chili Queen. His books were focused on a young man named Mack who wanted to be a trooper like his dad. But one day while siting on his porch he is hit in the eye by a can because a bunch of kids were playing kick the can. His dad told him that he could no longer be a trooper because you needed two eyes to do so. He decides to be a ticket agent at a bus depot and meets a man named Pepper, who soon dies in Korea and Mack marries his widow. The stories continue on until Mack is maybe about in his middle aged years. The books are as follows (in order:) Kick the Can, the Sooner Spy, and Lost and Found.

Jim Later on Began to travel around the country. He began collecting signs again and he visited places he has been to before. He once saw a sign that said “Jesus Is Watching” and did not understand what it meant. He later found an bought a bus which soon led him to think he was a fool because he did not check the bus to see it’s condition. He still loved the bus though and he kept it.

Jim has had a hard and easy life, which was full of happiness and hope. He has lived a loving life and still is. He used to see his heart attack as an excuse to not do certain things, then he saw it as something that should not get in his way. Yeah, heart attacks disable people, but they don’t completely ruin your life.

What I want to include in my autobiography

ENGLISH LESSON 10

ASSIGNMENT: What are three stories I have to include in my autobiography

First I want to start with a special entry. I want to talk about journaling. (You do not have to read this if you don’t want to. You may skip down to the paragraph that begins with “Anyway, now for the assignment” and read from there.)

I write in journals because they are a form of autobiography that will help me remember my life when I get older. I don’t just write, “Today I had a lot of fun,” I write “Today we blah, blah, blah (go into deep detail about what my family and I did that day.)”

I write in journals because I have a great fear about life.

Loosing memories.

I want to grow up and remember everything that happened in my life. My mind is already beginning to slip and I can’t remember most anything past the age of four, But not much after that either. I also want to write an autobiography to show people what it’s like to be me. That is also another reason why I don’t want to lose my memories.

Anyway, now for the assignment.

For my autobiography, I must say that I want to include everything. I want to include about my toddler years, boyhood years, teen years, and adulthood (For a later autobiography, but for now I’ll go with where I see myself as an adult.)

So what I am saying is I basically want this in my autobiography:

1: Growing up

2: Present day

3: What I think my life is like

4: Where I see myself in the future.

First I want to add a short thing about my life.

I was born on April 22nd, 1998 in Seattle, Washington. My biological mothers last name was Ringling, and yes, she was a descendent of the Ringling brothers, which makes me one, too! My dad’s last name was Butcher, which my brother and I went by as we grew up. My biological sister was born of a different father but same mother. Her name was Kiriana Baker, The last name is from her father.

I grew up in Seattle for a while, but then we moved back to Everett, Washington. I don’t remember anything that happened then, but I do remember when we moved back to Seattle. I lived with my uncle, Brent Butcher, for some time. I probably moved in when I was three and then moved out when I was four. I had some great friends there, and I remember that I was not allowed to get into the fridge, which is the hardest place to stay away from until you have to pay for what fills it. I used to get into the fridge and take a juice container. That was my choice every time even though he had a lot of other wonderful things in there. I would play video games like “The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask” and “Rush” on the Nintendo 64. I loved that system and I hope to find one again.

When I was four years old, we moved down to Florida. I do not remember anything up until I was about 6 in Cape Coral, Florida.

I am not going to tell you everything because this is going to be part of my autobiography.

I believe that is somebody is going to write an autobiography they should at least include the four things I am. I believe that is what an autobiography is about

Let the adventure begin.
